May 19th, 2011 Alcohol Free ReviewThe first alcohol free wine we are looking at is Söhnlein Brillant De-Alcoholised Sparkling Wine. First, looking at the bottle it is a beautifully packaged product and really oozes quality. Not the kind of thing you would be embarrassed to take on a night out. With its plastic/cork chunky stopper it is also an experience to open with a satisfying POP! and no doubt a good deal of fizz if you shake it up. It makes the ideal party drink.

January 4th, 2011 Alcohol Free ReviewThe wine has a wonderfully deep colour, just as you would expect with a standard Merlot really. Interestingly some of my guests were surprised that it looked just like an ordinary wine having not tried non alcoholic wine before.

A bright, but simple and clean design gives a really good finish to the product. The label reveals that all of the ingredients are organic, it has no granulated sugar, artificial colours, preservatives or flavours and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Good news all round then, a guilt free drink! It does weigh in at 165 Kcal, but it is not a fast drinking drink, so chances are you wouldn’t have that many in one go anyway.
