We were contacted a few weeks back about a new range of non alcoholic wines which have just become available in the UK – Domaine de Fleur. I am very pleased that we have some samples to review here on Alcohol Free Review.

It was clear from talking to the owners that they have a real passion for bringing the best de-alcoholised wines to the market. In just two short years they have grown their range to an amazing 12 different wines!

So, on to the first of our tastes the Chardonnay. Presented in a simple but classy screw cap bottle it does not shout ‘NON ALCOHOLIC !‘. I personally like that in a non alcoholic wine, because it means that you can blend in nicely at a social event without the questions about why you are not drinking.

After being nicely chilled we enjoyed a classic Chardonnay taste. This wine really sets itself apart from some lesser brands by not having any of that, sometimes present, tang to it. It is smooth, easy drinking at its best. On its own or with a meal this is just as enjoyable as any alcoholic chardonnay and you needn’t feel like you are missing out as all of the flavour has been retained during the alcohol removal process.
