Alcohol Free Review
Something new arrived today, a non alcoholic beer which is not a beer. It goes through the full mashing and boiling stages just as a usual beer does, but yeast is never added, hence, no alcohol!
Other than alcohol production, yeast also takes away the sweetness of the malt, so I was expecting this drink to be far too sweet, however, it wasn’t. In fact it tastes very balanced. The citrus adds a nice bite which lifts it above that shandy taste.
I think it would work well with food as it is sparkling, but not too gassy. This citrus version would be a fine accompaniment to a Sunday roast.
It is also a natural drink containing no additives or preservatives. Top that off with the fact that it contains less than 100 calories and you have a very nice alternative to the standard non alcoholic wines and beers.

I stopped drinking beer a few years ago because some of the persciption meds I take say Don’t Drink Alchol while taking this medication and I haven’t.But seeing these beer commercials on TV the beers look good,especially that new Yuenling beer,that’s why I was reading the reviews of NA Beers to see what people recomend,They mention that new Soft Brew Citrus Beer,and they said it was good but I’m not sure where to find it here in Columbus,Ohio. I guess I can check Krogers or Giant Eagle and see if either of them carry it.
